How do I get admin access to ImageVault
Q: When I login to ImageVault UI all menus are grayed out. How do I get admin access?
A: When installing ImageVault, the only account that has admin access is the user/group that is entered in the installation. To grant other users access to ImageVault, log on using this account and click the "Advanced settings" button to open the Global Access Rights" dialog. In here you can add users that should have some kind of administrator access.
You can also modify the ImageVault database and modify the GlobalRoleIdentities and add the identity (user name/group name) and GlobalRoleId that is needed. After updating the database, you need to restart the ImageVault Core service.
